To our valued customers:
The COVID-19pandemic is creating a constantly evolving and changing environment, which we are all learning to adjust to. Within this new reality, Kromet’s top priority remains the health and safety of our employees; and our communities. Our next priority is to continue, to the best of our ability,to supply our customers with any essential parts and components required for them to continue the manufacturing of products for their end use consumers.
On March 23, 2020,the Government of Ontario announced new restrictions on workplaces operating within the province of Ontario. To help stop the spread of COVID-19, all non-essential businesses have been ordered closed for at least 14 days. Kromet has reviewed the details of the Government’s order and has determined that we fall within the definition of an essential business. As such we will remain openfor the foreseeable future.
In order to ensure continued operations, we have taken significant measures within our facilities to protect our employees such as enforcing social distancing protocols, increased cleaning & disinfection routines, imposing quarantine timeframes for employees who are symptomatic and/or have traveled recently, and other recommendations as derived from Health Canada, the C.D.C., and the W.H.O.
We are all navigating unchartered territory and are looking at what that means for our people, organization, suppliers, and customers. We sincerely appreciate your support. Please continue to include us in any communications related to your business continuity and contingency mitigation plans. We will quickly communicate any changes to our business conditions should they arise. Thank you to the extended Kromet family (Employees, Suppliers, Customers, Contractors, etc.) for everything you are doing in these unique and trying times. Wishing you all continued good health.
