General Labour - CNC Operator
Cambridge, Ontario
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: 8 hour shift
Salary: $18.85 per hour
Kromet International Inc. is currently seeking CNC Operators to join our team! Candidates must be available for afternoon or night shifts. We offer competitive wages, benefits and opportunities to build your skills in the industry. All training provided.
The Job:
- Operation of CNC machines in a manufacturing setting.
- Ensure all safety guards are in place and all safety equipment is set up prior to starting equipment.
- Receive all applicable training required to perform the job.
- Report deficiencies to manager.
- Complete all required written documentation, including quality, safety checks, and machine shop reports.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Practice and follow up on all applicable safety regulations.
- Support all plant wide safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High school diploma.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Availability for afternoon or night shifts.
- Safety footwear.
- Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching, grasping.
